We’re accustomed to weddings in Poland typically occurring during the summer months, with the season running from June to September. Summer weddings are lovely, allowing us to enjoy the pleasant weather. However, we adore winter weddings! They possess a unique magic! We’ll do our best to show you that a winter wedding can be just as beautiful!
Benefits of a Winter Wedding:
- Openings! Yes! When planning a winter wedding, we have complete flexibility in choosing our vendors. We can select our dream team without having to search for backup options,
- Lower prices – many companies offer significant discounts for organizing your dream day during the off-season,
- A valuable point for all ladies: lower temperatures mean longer-lasting makeup. While makeup tends to run in the heat, it stays put much longer in winter!,
- It gets dark earlier, which means you can enjoy the glow of candles in the reception hall sooner and for longer, creating a unique atmosphere,
- Atmospheric decorations – during winter, you can also embrace a festive theme, using evergreens, pinecones, or oranges,
- Guests won’t wander off into the garden, meaning everyone will be together in one room, fully enjoying the wedding festivities,
- Another crucial point (which no one talks about) is that in lower temperatures, your guests will remain sober for longer than during intense heat 🙂
- Greater guest availability – yes, this is very important. It often happens that someone declines your invitation because they have a loved one’s wedding or are planning a vacation at that time,
- Incredible weather (yes, as long as it’s snow, not mud and slush!). Snow provides the perfect backdrop for any wedding photoshoot, and the Bride’s gown looks stunning against an icy, natural backdrop,
- It’s also worth mentioning the honeymoon – firstly, during the winter season, prices for international trips are significantly lower; secondly, there’s nothing more pleasant than escaping to the sun during a long Polish winter!
